While our goal is to help people achieve energy independence through solar, we understand that not everyone or every structure can support or qualify for solar. The following lists will provide reps with guidance on how to maximize their efforts and not spend unneeded time on unqualified candidates.
What we will not install on:
Roof Mount Minimum System Size: 10 panels ($750 small system adder)
Ground Mount Minimum System Size: 28 panels (10kW)
Roof sections that can only fit one panel (two panel minimum per roof section)
Single wide trailers
Excluded Roofing
Wood shake
Roofs with 2+ layers of shingles
Rolled asphalt roof
Roofing material we can’t penetrate or clamp on
Roofs that are not structurally sound
Buildings without concrete foundations (i.e. sheds, pergolas, etc.)
Un-Permitted structures
Apartment buildings
RV’s or trailers
HOA owned roofs that will not give us permission to install
What requires a site survey
Ground mounts
Roofs over 20 years old (does not apply to metal roofs)
Secondary buildings (i.e. detached garage)
Homes built before 1970
